From Grand Port, head west on the A1 road toward Curepipe. Continue on the A1 for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with the A9. Take the A9 towards Chamarel. Stay on the A9 for about 15 kilometers until you reach Chamarel village. Once in Chamarel, follow the signs to Piton du Canot. You may need to pay a fee of around 350 Mauritian Rupees for entrance.

Start at the main bus terminal in Grand Port. Take a bus heading to Curepipe (the bus fare is approximately 30-50 Mauritian Rupees). Once you arrive at Curepipe, transfer to a bus heading to Chamarel. The fare for this leg is about 50-70 Mauritian Rupees. After arriving in Chamarel, you can either walk to Piton du Canot (around 2 kilometers) or hire a local taxi for about 200-300 Mauritian Rupees to take you directly to the site.
