Car
From Ile aux Cerfs, head back to the mainland via the boat transfer. Once you arrive at Trou d'Eau Douce, get into your car. Follow the A3 road heading northwest. Continue driving straight for about 30 kilometers (approximately 35 minutes) until you reach Port Louis. Look for signs directing you to the city center as you approach. Note that parking in Port Louis may incur additional fees.
Public Transportation
After taking the boat back to Trou d'Eau Douce, catch a local bus heading towards Port Louis from the bus stop near the dock. Buses are frequent, and the journey will take around 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes depending on traffic. Ensure you have small change for the fare, typically around 50-70 Mauritian Rupees (MUR). Once you arrive at the bus terminal in Port Louis, you can explore the city on foot.
