Car
If you're driving, start from the main parking area on Ile aux Cerfs. Head towards the exit of the island and take the road leading to the main land. Follow the signs for Route A12 towards Mahébourg. After about 10 kilometers, take the exit towards Bois des Amourettes. Continue straight until you reach the village, and look for signs directing you to Kestrel Valley, which is located at MP6P+6G, Bois des Amourettes. The drive will take approximately 20-25 minutes depending on traffic.
Public Transportation
To reach Kestrel Valley using public transport, first take a local boat service from Ile aux Cerfs to the mainland, which typically costs around 200 MUR per person. Once you arrive at the mainland, head to the nearest bus stop and catch a bus heading towards Mahébourg. Inform the driver you want to stop at Bois des Amourettes, and the fare should be about 30 MUR. After disembarking, walk towards MP6P+6G; it should take you around 15 minutes on foot to reach Kestrel Valley.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Ile aux Cerfs. Negotiate the fare before the journey; it usually costs around 800-1000 MUR for a round trip. The taxi will take you directly to Kestrel Valley in about 20 minutes, allowing you to enjoy the scenery along the way.
