Car
If you are driving from any location in Ile aux Cerfs, first head towards the main road leading off the island. Follow the signs to the ferry terminal. Once you reach the ferry terminal, take the ferry to the mainland (approximately 15 minutes). Upon arrival, follow the signs towards Chamarel. Continue on the B9 road, and then turn onto the B10 towards Chamarel. Drive for about 30 minutes until you reach the JC4R+J56 location. Look for parking areas available near the viewpoint.

From any point in Ile aux Cerfs, take a taxi or a shuttle service to the ferry terminal. The ferry ride to the mainland costs approximately MUR 300. Once you are on the mainland, you can catch a local bus heading towards Chamarel. Ensure you confirm with the driver that they are heading to Chamarel, as some may go to different destinations. The bus ride will take about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Chamarel, you can either walk to Macchabée Viewpoint or take a local taxi. The viewpoint is approximately a 10-minute drive or a 30-minute walk from the main bus stop in Chamarel.

You can opt for a taxi service from Ile aux Cerfs to Macchabée Viewpoint. First, take a taxi from your location on the island to the ferry terminal, which will cost around MUR 300. Then, take the ferry to the mainland. Once on the mainland, hire a taxi directly to Macchabée Viewpoint. The taxi ride from the ferry terminal to the viewpoint will take about 30 minutes and should cost approximately MUR 800 to MUR 1000, depending on traffic.
