Walking
Start your journey from Le Morne Public Beach. Head east along the coastal road (Royal Road) for about 2 km until you reach the junction of Chemin de la Falaise. Turn left onto Chemin de la Falaise and continue walking for approximately 1.5 km. You will pass by some local shops and restaurants. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating the way to Chamarel. After about 1.5 km, you will reach the entrance to the Macchabée Forest. Enter the forest area and follow the marked trails. The Macchabée Viewpoint is located about 1 km from the entrance, and you will find signs guiding you to the viewpoint.

From your location in Le Morne, walk to the nearest bus stop on Royal Road. Take the bus towards Chamarel, which should take about 20 minutes. Get off at the Chamarel bus stop. From there, walk along the main road for about 1 km until you reach the entrance to the Macchabée Forest. Follow the marked trails from the entrance to the Macchabée Viewpoint, which is about 1 km away.
