Walking
From the center of Mahebourg, start at the Mahebourg Waterfront, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the bay. Walk along the waterfront towards the south until you reach the main road (A9). This should take about 15-20 minutes. Once you reach the A9, turn left and continue walking for about 2 kilometers. You will see signs for Rochester Falls as you approach. The path is well-marked, and the scenery along the way is quite pleasant.
Bus
From the Mahebourg bus station, take a local bus heading towards Souillac. Buses frequently run on this route, so you shouldn't have to wait long. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Rochester Falls. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive, there will be a short walk from the bus stop to the entrance of the falls.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Mahebourg. Start from the town center and head towards the A9 road. Follow the same route as if you were walking. Riding a bike will allow you to reach Rochester Falls in about 10-15 minutes. Be cautious of traffic as you navigate the roads.
