Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the Mahebourg Waterfront (near the main market area). Head southeast along the waterfront promenade. You will pass several local shops and restaurants. Continue walking until you reach the main road (A1). Cross the road and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route Royale. Turn left onto Route Royale and continue walking. After approximately 10 minutes, you will see signs for Tookay Temple. Follow the signs and take the next right onto GHWJ+7X2. The temple will be on your left.

  • Public Bus

    From the Mahebourg Bus Station, take bus number 3 towards Britannia. The bus will take you directly towards the area of Tookay Temple. After about a 15-minute ride, disembark at the Britannia stop. From the bus stop, walk along the main road for about 5 minutes. Take a right turn on GHWJ+7X2, and you will see Tookay Temple on your left.

  • Cycling

    If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Mahebourg Waterfront and cycle southeast along the promenade. Continue to the main road (A1) and cross over. Turn left on Route Royale and cycle straight for about 10 minutes. Look out for the signs for Tookay Temple. Turn right onto GHWJ+7X2, and the temple will be on your left shortly after.
