If you are starting from the center of Mahebourg, head towards the waterfront. Walk along the main road, Rue de la République, towards the east until you reach the intersection with Royal Road (Route Royale). Turn left onto Royal Road. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by several local shops and restaurants. Keep an eye out for landmarks such as the Mahebourg Market on your left. Once you reach the area of Ferney, look for the Dutch First Landing monument on your right side along Royal Road. The landmark is well-marked and is a stone monument commemorating the historical event.
