Car

If you are driving from Moka, start by heading towards the Moka Bypass Road (B3). Follow the signs towards Phoenix and keep an eye out for the exit towards Moka. Once you are on the Moka Bypass Road, take the exit towards QFQX+579, which is where Junction Peak is located. The journey should take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to park in a safe area before proceeding to the hiking trail.

Public Transportation

To reach Junction Peak via public transport, you can take a bus from the main bus terminal in Moka. Look for buses heading towards Phoenix or Quatre Bornes, as they will pass close to the area. You should ask the bus driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to QFQX+579. The fare is typically around 25-50 MUR. From the bus stop, you can either walk towards Junction Peak, which is about a 20-minute walk, or you can arrange for a taxi to take you the remaining distance.

Walking

Once you arrive at QFQX+579, you will need to walk towards the entrance of the hiking area for Junction Peak. The trail head is marked, and it is advisable to wear comfortable hiking shoes. The walk to the peak offers beautiful scenery and can take about 1-2 hours depending on your pace. Be sure to bring water and snacks for your hike.
