Car
From Moka, get onto the M1 highway heading northwest towards Port Louis. Continue on the M1 for approximately 12 km. Take the exit toward A1/Verdun/Port Louis. Merge onto A1, and then take the exit toward RGP6/Sebastopol St. Follow Sebastopol St for about 1 km. You will see Citadelle (Fort Adelaide) on your right. There is limited parking available near the fort.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Moka, head to the nearest bus stop and take a bus heading toward Port Louis. Look for bus numbers 3, 16, or 38, which regularly service this route. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Once in Port Louis, alight at the bus terminal and transfer to a local bus heading to Sebastopol St. It's a short ride of about 10 minutes. Walk approximately 10 minutes from the bus stop to Citadelle (Fort Adelaide), which is located at RGP6+G46, Sebastopol St.
Taxi
For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from Moka to Citadelle (Fort Adelaide). The trip will take around 25 minutes. Agree on a fare with the driver beforehand, as taxi meters are not always used. Expect to pay around 600-800 MUR for the journey. The taxi will drop you off right at the entrance of the fort.
