Getting There

• Car

  From any location in Plaines Wilhems, head towards the M1 motorway. You can access the M1 by following local roads towards Curepipe. Once you reach the M1, take the exit toward Vacoas-Phoenix. Continue on the M1 for about 8 km, then take the exit towards the A10 road towards Vacoas. Follow the A10 for about 4 km, and then take a right onto JC5W road. Continue on JC5W until you reach the destination at JC5W+7QC, Vacoas-Phoenix. Please note that parking may be limited, so plan accordingly.

• Public Transportation

  Start at any bus stop in Plaines Wilhems and take a bus heading towards Vacoas-Phoenix. You can ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to JC5W road. Once you get off, you may have to walk approximately 1 km to reach Mare Aux Joncs, Black River Gorges, Mauritius Waterfall. Be aware that the bus frequency may vary, so check the local schedules. The fare for a bus ride is usually around 25 to 50 MUR.
