From the central bus station in Port Louis, take bus number 1 or 3 heading towards the South. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. You will need to get off at the stop near the A9 highway. Once you get off, walk towards the direction of the A9 road. Rochester Falls is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the A9 road, and you will see signs directing you to the falls.

You can find taxis near the central bus station or along major streets in Port Louis. Tell the driver you want to go to Rochester Falls on the A9 road. The trip will take around 30 minutes, depending on traffic. The taxi will drop you off at the entrance of the falls.

If you are feeling adventurous and are located near the A9 road, you can walk directly to Rochester Falls. Start from any point on the A9 road, and head in the direction of the falls, which are clearly marked with signs. The walk may take about 1 to 1.5 hours, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
