From Port Louis, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Rue de la Reine. Take the bus number 198 heading towards Vacoas. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Be sure to notify the driver that you want to get off at Vacoas. Once you arrive in Vacoas, you will need to walk approximately 15 minutes to reach Trou aux Cerfs. Head southeast on Avenue des Manguiers, then take a left onto Route des Dodos. Follow this road until you reach the entrance to Trou aux Cerfs.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Port Louis to Trou aux Cerfs. You can find taxis around the central market area or ask your hotel to arrange one for you. The taxi ride will take about 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Just tell the driver 'Trou aux Cerfs' or show them the location on your phone.
