Worth the expense, an amazing experience!

I wanted to see more of Mauritius beyond the beaches, so this private north tour seemed like a good choice. The botanical garden was one of my favourite stops, especially seeing the giant water lilies in person. Port Louis was interesting too, with a completely different atmosphere from the coastal areas. I also enjoyed stopping in Grand Baie, where we could take in the views and get a feel for the area. Having a private tour made the day more flexible, and we didn't feel like we had to rush through every stop. It was nice to see different sides of the island in one day, and I'd definitely recommend exploring the north if you want to experience more of Mauritius.
