Walking
From Poste de Flacq, start at the main bus stop located at the center of the village. Head east towards the coastal road, which is known as Route Coastal. Follow this road for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 58. At the junction, turn left onto Route 58 and continue walking straight for about 2 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Trou d'Eau Douce. As you approach Trou d'Eau Douce, you will notice the area becoming more scenic, with views of the ocean. Continue walking straight until you reach the location marked QQ6V+VGX. Alte Festung. will be on your right side.

Public Transport
From Poste de Flacq, take a local bus from the main bus stop towards Trou d'Eau Douce. Buses run frequently, so you shouldn't have to wait long. The bus ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Get off at the Trou d'Eau Douce stop. After disembarking, head southeast on the coastal road (Route Coastal) for about 500 meters. Look for the QQ6V+VGX marker on your left side, where Alte Festung. is located.
