Getting There

Walking
Start from the center of Poste de Flacq, near the local market. Head east on the main road (Royal Road) towards the coast. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the coastal road. Turn right onto the coastal road (Coastal Road) and follow it for approximately 1 kilometer. You will see signs for Palmar Beach in Quatre Cocos. The beach is located on your left-hand side and will be easily recognizable by its sandy shores and clear waters.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the center of Poste de Flacq, head to the bus stop located near the local market. Look for a bus heading towards Quatre Cocos or Palmar. The bus ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Palmar Beach. Once you arrive, walk a short distance towards the beach, which is located just a few meters away from the bus stop.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Poste de Flacq. Head east along Royal Road, following the same route as if you were walking. After about 2 kilometers, turn right onto the Coastal Road and continue for another kilometer. Palmar Beach will be on your left. There are bicycle racks available near the beach where you can park your bike.
