Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Poste de Flacq, head southeast towards the main road, B15. Walk along the B15 road, which is well marked and easy to follow. You will pass by several local shops and eateries, which can be a great opportunity to grab a snack or drink. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a small junction. At this junction, you will see signs directing you towards the coast. Turn left at this junction and follow the path that leads towards the beach. After about 500 meters, you will arrive at Plage magnifique, known for its stunning views and clear waters. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, as some areas may have uneven terrain.

• Public Transport

  From Poste de Flacq, locate the nearest bus stop, which is usually near the town center. Take a local bus that heads towards Belle Mare or Trou d'Eau Douce, as they frequently pass by Plage magnifique. Inform the bus driver that you wish to get off at B15, and they will let you know when to disembark. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. After getting off at B15, walk towards the beach following the signs. It's about a 5-minute walk from the bus stop to Plage magnifique.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you prefer a more active mode of transport, consider renting a bicycle from a local shop in Poste de Flacq. Once you have your bike, head towards B15 road. Cycle along the B15, ensuring to stay on the designated bike lanes where available for safety. The distance to Plage magnifique is about 2 kilometers. Follow the signs towards the beach once you reach the junction leading to the coast. This ride will take around 10-15 minutes, and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way.
