Getting There
Walking
From Poste de Flacq, head towards the main road (Royal Road) and turn right. Walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection at the small roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the coastal road (Coastal Road). Continue walking for about 2 kilometers, enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way. You will pass by several local shops and small eateries. Once you reach the Pointe d'Esny area, follow the signs directing you to Pointe d'Esny Beach, which should be visible from the road.
Public Bus
First, walk to the nearest bus stop on Royal Road. Look for a bus heading towards Blue Bay or Mahebourg. The bus ride will take around 20 minutes. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Pointe d'Esny. After you disembark, walk towards the beach area which is only a short distance from the bus stop. Follow the signs to the beach, and you will arrive at Pointe d'Esny Beach.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from Poste de Flacq and head towards the main road (Royal Road). Turn right and cycle straight for about 1.5 kilometers. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Coastal Road. Continue cycling for approximately 2 kilometers. You will find the entrance to Pointe d'Esny Beach on your right side as you approach the area. There are bike racks available near the beach for you to secure your bicycle.
