Bus
From Riviere du Rempart, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is typically located near the main road. Take a bus heading towards Port Louis. The bus fare is usually around 30-50 Mauritian Rupees. The journey will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on traffic. Stay on the bus until you reach the main bus terminal in Port Louis, which is called 'Gare Victoria'. Once you arrive at Gare Victoria, exit the terminal and walk towards the main road.
Taxi
From your location in Riviere du Rempart, find a local taxi stand or flag down a taxi on the street. Inform the driver that you want to go to China Town in Port Louis. Agree on the fare before starting your journey. The taxi ride will take about 30-45 minutes depending on traffic conditions. The driver will drop you off near the entrance of China Town, which is located in the heart of Port Louis.
Walking
If you're already in the vicinity of Port Louis (for example, if you have taken a bus or taxi to another area nearby), you can walk to China Town. Start at the main bus terminal, Gare Victoria. Head southwest on Rue de l'Intendance, then turn left onto Rue de la Réserve. Continue straight until you reach Rue Royal, and then turn right. Follow Rue Royal, and you will find the vibrant streets of China Town. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from Gare Victoria.
