Walking
Start from the center of Riviere du Rempart. Head northeast on the main road (B29) towards the village of Plaine des Roches. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with the A10 road. Turn left onto A10 and keep walking for about 1.5 kilometers. Look for signs that indicate the direction to Roche Noire Lava Tubes. As you approach, you will see an unnamed road leading towards the lava tubes. Follow this road for about 500 meters until you reach the entrance to Roche Noire Lava Tubes, located at VPM6+4H7.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Riviere du Rempart, walk to the nearest bus stop on the main road (B29). Take a bus heading towards Plaine des Roches. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Plaine des Roches, ask the bus driver or locals for directions to Roche Noire Lava Tubes. From the bus stop, you may need to walk about 1 kilometer along A10, then take the unnamed road for 500 meters to reach the lava tubes.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the center of Riviere du Rempart and cycle northeast on the B29 road towards Plaine des Roches. After approximately 2 kilometers, turn left onto A10. Continue cycling for another 1.5 kilometers. Follow the signs for Roche Noire Lava Tubes as you approach the unnamed road. Once you turn onto the unnamed road, it’s about 500 meters to the entrance of the lava tubes.
