Getting There

    From Riviere du Rempart, walk to the nearest bus stop which is located on the main road near the local market. Look for buses heading towards Port Louis or Triolet. Make sure to board the bus that has 'Port Louis' or 'Triolet' displayed on the front. The fare is around 30-50 MUR. Stay on the bus for approximately 30-40 minutes until you reach the 'Pamplemousses' bus station.

    Once you arrive at the Pamplemousses bus station, exit the station and head west towards the main road (Route A1). Walk straight for about 10 minutes; you will see a sign indicating the direction to 'Le Pouce'. Follow this sign and take the left turn onto the path that leads towards the mountain. Continue walking for another 15-20 minutes until you reach the base of Le Pouce.
