If you're driving, start by heading south on the main road (A1) towards the village of Port Mathurin. Once you reach Port Mathurin, take the turnoff towards the east on A2, following signs for Grand Baie. Continue on A2 until you reach the junction at the entrance to the village of Saint Francois. From there, take the road leading to the north towards Chamarel. After approximately 10 km, you will see signs for Macchabée Viewpoint. Turn left onto the road leading up to the viewpoint. The last part of the drive is quite steep, so drive carefully. Parking is available at the viewpoint.
