    From Savanne, head northwest on the A1 highway towards Port Louis. After approximately 30 kilometers, take the exit towards the M1 highway. Continue on M1 for about 5 kilometers. Take the exit towards Port Louis, and follow the signs for Sebastopol St. Continue straight until you reach Citadelle (Fort Adelaide) at RGP6+G46, Sebastopol St, Port Louis. There is limited parking available near the fort.

    From Savanne, take a local bus heading to Port Louis. Buses to Port Louis run frequently from Savanne. The journey will take about 1 hour and cost approximately MUR 40-50. Once you arrive at the Port Louis bus station, you can either walk to Citadelle (Fort Adelaide) which is about a 20-minute walk (1.5 km) or take a local taxi which will cost around MUR 100-150. To walk, head northwest on Rue Desforges, turn left onto Rue St. Georges, and continue onto Sebastopol St until you reach the fort.
