If you are driving from anywhere in Savanne, start by heading northwest on the main road (Royal Road). Continue straight for about 10 km until you reach the coastal area. Look for signs directing you towards the east coast. Follow the coastal road, and you will arrive at the ferry terminal at Mahebourg. There is no direct car access to Mauritius Island, so you will need to take a ferry from here. Parking is available at the terminal, which may cost around 100-200 MUR per day.

To reach Mauritius Island via public transportation, find the nearest bus stop in Savanne. Board a bus heading towards Mahebourg, which is a common route. The bus fare is typically around 30 MUR. The journey takes approximately 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive in Mahebourg, walk to the ferry terminal, where you can purchase tickets for the ferry to Mauritius Island. Round-trip ferry tickets usually cost around 500 MUR per person. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes.
