Walking
From the center of Tamarin, head east towards the main road, Royal Road. Walk along Royal Road until you reach the junction with the A3 highway. Continue straight along Royal Road for approximately 19 kilometers. You will pass through several small towns and scenic areas along the way. Once you reach Mahebourg, keep an eye out for signs directing you to the Mahebourg Museum, which is located on Royal Road near the waterfront.
Public Transport (Bus)
From Tamarin, walk to the nearest bus stop on the main road. Look for buses heading towards Mahebourg. The number 3 or 51 buses frequently travel this route. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride for about 30 to 40 minutes until you reach Mahebourg. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop nearest to the Mahebourg Museum. After getting off, walk a short distance towards Royal Road, and the museum will be on your left.
