Getting There

• Walking

  Starting from the center of Chiconi, head south on Avenue du Général de Gaulle towards Rue de l'Indépendance. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue du 14 Juillet. Turn left onto Rue du 14 Juillet and continue walking. After about 500 meters, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the left path, which leads towards the Cascade de Soulou. Follow the path for approximately 1 kilometer; you will notice signs leading to the waterfall. The path will become more rugged as you approach the waterfall. Keep an eye out for local landmarks, such as the nearby village huts, to ensure you are on the right track.

• Bicycle

  From the main square in Chiconi, rent a bicycle at one of the local shops. Cycle south along Avenue du Général de Gaulle until you reach the junction with Rue de l'Indépendance. At this junction, continue straight onto Rue du 14 Juillet. After about 1 kilometer, look for the signs indicating Cascade de Soulou. There will be a slightly rough path leading to the waterfall. Be prepared for some uphill cycling as you approach the waterfall, and take care with the bike on the uneven terrain.

• Hiking

  If you're starting from the Chiconi beach area, find the trail that leads inland towards the hills. Follow the main hiking trail that leads up into the forest. After about 2 kilometers, you should encounter a signpost indicating the direction to Cascade de Soulou. Follow the smaller trails that veer off towards the waterfall. The final stretch will involve some steep inclines and rocky paths, so wear appropriate hiking shoes and bring water. The hike should take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your pace.
