Getting There

From the central area of Mamoudzou, head towards the beach area. Start at the Place de la République, and walk towards the seafront. Continue straight along the waterfront until you reach the Port de Mamoudzou. From the port, follow the signs towards Dzaoudzi. You'll need to cross the bridge that connects Mamoudzou to Dzaoudzi. Once you cross the bridge, continue walking straight for about 1 km until you reach Dziani Dzaha, which is located on your right. The lake is easily recognizable by its beautiful scenery.
Public Transport (Taxi-Brousse)

From Mamoudzou, head to the nearest taxi-brousse station located near the market area (Marché de Mamoudzou). Look for a taxi-brousse heading towards Dzaoudzi. Once you arrive in Dzaoudzi, disembark at the main square and follow the signs towards the lake, which is about a 10-minute walk from there.
