Walking
From the central area of Mamoudzou, head towards the beach area. Start at the Place de la République, and walk towards the seafront. Continue straight along the waterfront until you reach the Port de Mamoudzou. From the port, follow the signs towards Dzaoudzi. You'll need to cross the bridge that connects Mamoudzou to Dzaoudzi. Once you cross the bridge, continue walking straight for about 1 km until you reach Dziani Dzaha, which is located on your right. The lake is easily recognizable by its beautiful scenery.

Public Transport (Taxi-Brousse)
From Mamoudzou, head to the nearest taxi-brousse station located near the market area (Marché de Mamoudzou). Look for a taxi-brousse heading towards Dzaoudzi. Inform the driver that you want to go to Dziani Dzaha. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive in Dzaoudzi, disembark at the main square and follow the signs towards the lake, which is about a 10-minute walk from there.

Bicycle Rental
If you're feeling adventurous, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Mamoudzou. Start your journey from the central area and head towards the coast. Follow the route along the waterfront, taking the same path towards the Port de Mamoudzou. After crossing the bridge into Dzaoudzi, continue biking straight until you reach Dziani Dzaha. This route is scenic and will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on your cycling speed.
