Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the central area of Mamoudzou, head towards Place de la République. Begin by walking down Rue de l'Aéroport, which is the main road. Keep walking straight until you reach the junction with Avenue de la République. Turn left onto Avenue de la République. Continue walking for about 500 meters, and you will see Place de la République on your right. The Tourist Office is located right on this square.

    From the Mamoudzou Market (Marché de Mamoudzou), exit the market and turn right onto Rue du 14 Juillet. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Avenue de la République. Turn left and continue straight for approximately 300 meters. You will arrive at Place de la République, where the Tourist Office is situated.

    If you are coming from the waterfront area (Promenade de Mamoudzou), walk up the hill towards Rue de l'Aéroport. Once you reach Rue de l'Aéroport, turn right and continue walking until you reach the junction with Avenue de la République. Turn left and walk for about 500 meters to reach Place de la République. The Tourist Office will be on your right.
