Walking
If you are starting from the center of Mamoudzou, head towards Avenue du Général de Gaulle. Walk south until you reach the intersection with Rue des Fleurs. Turn left onto Rue des Fleurs and continue straight. You will see the local market on your left, which is a good landmark. Keep walking straight until you reach the intersection with Unnamed Road. Turn right onto Unnamed Road and continue walking for about 300 meters. The Mosquée de Vendredi Kaweni will be on your left, identifiable by its distinctive architecture.
Public Transport
From the main bus station in Mamoudzou, take a local bus heading towards Kaweni. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the nearest stop to the Mosquée de Vendredi Kaweni. The bus will take you along the main route through Kaweni. Once you get off the bus, proceed on foot along the Unnamed Road for about 5 minutes. The mosque will be on your left side, easily recognizable by its design.
Bicycle
If you are renting a bicycle, start from the central area of Mamoudzou. Cycle south along Avenue du Général de Gaulle until you reach Rue des Fleurs. Turn left onto Rue des Fleurs and keep cycling straight, passing the local market. When you reach the intersection with Unnamed Road, turn right. Continue cycling for about 300 meters, and you will find the Mosquée de Vendredi Kaweni on your left.
