Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Mamoudzou, start at the main market (Marché de Mamoudzou). Head south toward the road named Avenue de la République. Continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach the junction with Rue des Ecoles. Turn left onto Rue des Ecoles, and follow this road until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Route de Passamainty. Walk along Route de Passamainty for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and eateries. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you toward Passamainty. When you see the local school on your right, continue straight for another 300 meters. After that, take a right onto the smaller road leading into Passamainty. Continue for about 200 meters, and you will see Mosquée Jûm'a on your left at the address 56X6+7X2, CCD 3, Passamainty.

  Start at the main bus station in Mamoudzou. Look for the bus route that heads towards Passamainty. Buses are typically marked with their destination. Once you board the bus, inform the driver you are headed to Mosquée Jûm'a or Passamainty. The ride will last about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Get off at the nearest stop to Passamainty. From there, head south for about 300 meters along the main road until you see the mosque on your left at 56X6+7X2, CCD 3, Passamainty.
