Car
From Plage de Papani, head northwest on the main road (Route Nationale 1). Continue for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the junction for Dzaoudzi. Turn left onto the Dzaoudzi road and follow the signs for Mont Mathey. After about 5 kilometers, you will see a sign indicating Mont Mathey on your right. Follow the small road to the parking area.
Public Transportation
Start at Plage de Papani and walk to the nearest bus stop. Take the local bus heading towards Dzaoudzi (make sure to check the bus schedule as they may vary). The bus ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive in Dzaoudzi, ask the driver or locals for directions to Mont Mathey, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs that point towards the hiking area.
