If you are in Acapulco Tradicional, a pleasant 15-minute walk will take you to the Acapulco Historical Museum of Fort San Diego. Start by heading southeast towards the main road, Av. Costera Miguel Alemán. Once you reach the main road, turn left and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Calle Hornitos. Turn right onto Calle Hornitos, and you will find the museum at Hornitos s/n, Centro, 39300 Acapulco de Juárez, Gro. Look for the large stone structure of the fort, which is hard to miss.

Once you get off, walk a few minutes towards Calle Hornitos, and you will arrive at the museum.
