Catch a local bus heading towards Hornos Beach from the central bus terminal in Acapulco. The fare is approximately 10-15 MXN. The bus will take you along the Costera Miguel Alemán road. Get off at the nearest stop to Playa Tamarindos, which is well-signposted. From there, it's a short walk to the beach.
Taxi
You can also take a taxi from any location in Acapulco. Be sure to negotiate the fare before getting in or ask the driver to use the meter. The fare from the city center to Playa Tamarindos should be around 100-150 MXN. The taxi will drop you off right at the beach entrance.
