Getting There

• Bus

  If you are in the central area of Acapulco, head to the nearest bus stop where you can catch a local bus heading towards Cumbres de Llano Largo. Look for the buses with 'Cumbres' or 'Playa' signs. Once on the bus, inform the driver you are going to the 'Jardín Botánico' (Botanical Garden). The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Get off at the stop closest to Avenida Heroico Colegio Militar and walk a short distance to the garden entrance.

• Taxi

  From your hotel or current location, you can hail a taxi or use a ride-hailing app. Simply tell the driver 'Jardín Botánico en Cumbres de Llano Largo'. The ride should take about 20-30 minutes. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your trip if not using an app. Once you arrive, the entrance will be clearly marked.

• Walking

  If you are nearby, you can walk to the Acapulco Botanical Garden. Start from any recognizable landmark, such as the Acapulco Convention Center. Head east on Avenida Costera Miguel Alemán, then turn left onto Avenida Heroico Colegio Militar. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the entrance of the garden.

  If you have access to a bicycle, rent one from a local shop. From the main beach area, cycle along Avenida Costera Miguel Alemán towards the north. Follow the signs to Cumbres de Llano Largo. The ride should take approximately 30 minutes. Once you reach Avenida Heroico Colegio Militar, look for the entrance to the botanical garden on your right.
