Car
If you are driving from the city of León, head southwest on the Mexico 45D highway towards Guanajuato. Follow the signs for Guanajuato and take the exit toward Calle Juárez. Continue onto Avenida Juárez, which will lead you into the city center. Once in the Centro area, you can follow Calle 20 de Noviembre until you reach the turn for Cerro de San Miguel. Follow the road up the hill until you see the monument. Be aware that parking is limited, so look for designated public parking areas.
Public Transportation
To reach Monumento Al Pipila using public transportation, take a bus or a shared van (called 'colectivos') from León to Guanajuato. The main bus terminal in León is Terminal de Autobuses de León, where you can find services to Guanajuato. Once you arrive at the Guanajuato bus terminal, you can either walk to the city center (approximately 15-20 minutes) or take a local taxi. If you choose to walk, head down Calle 20 de Noviembre toward the centro. From there, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Cerro de San Miguel. Note that the hike to the monument is uphill, so wear comfortable shoes.

The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes from the city center, depending on traffic. Expect to pay around 50-100 MXN for the ride.
