Getting There

Ferry

To get to Playa Norte in Isla Mujeres, you will first need to take a ferry from Cancun. Head to Puerto Juárez, which is located about 2 km from the Cancun hotel zone. You can take a local bus (Ruta 1 or 2) from your hotel to the Puerto Juárez ferry terminal. Once you arrive at the terminal, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Isla Mujeres. The ferry ride takes about 15-20 minutes. Upon arrival at Isla Mujeres, disembark and you will find yourself at the main dock.
Walking

From the ferry terminal in Isla Mujeres, walk towards Rueda Medina Street. As you exit the terminal, turn left and walk along the waterfront. You will see signs pointing towards Playa Norte. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes, passing local shops and restaurants. Playa Norte is located at the intersection of Rueda Medina and SM 001, and you will find the beach area right in front of you.
Bicycle Rental

If you prefer, you can also rent a bicycle from one of the nearby rental shops at the ferry terminal. After disembarking, rent a bike and ride towards Playa Norte. Follow the same route along the waterfront, which is scenic and enjoyable. It should take you around 5-10 minutes to reach the beach from the terminal by bicycle.
