From San Cristóbal de las Casas, head to the main bus terminal, which is located near the center of the city. Look for a bus heading towards 'Ocosingo' or 'Palenque.' Once on the bus, inform the driver you'll be getting off at 'Piedra Parada.' The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. When you arrive in Piedra Parada, walk towards the main road and follow the signs for 'Centro Ecoturístico Sima de las Cotorras,' which is approximately a 20-minute walk from the bus stop.

From the same bus terminal in San Cristóbal de las Casas, you can also take a colectivo (shared taxi) to 'Piedra Parada.' The colectivos are usually located outside the terminal and leave when full. This option may be faster than the bus. Once you arrive in Piedra Parada, get off at the main road and walk towards 'Centro Ecoturístico Sima de las Cotorras,' which is about a 20-minute walk from where you are dropped off.
