From the center of Palenque, head southeast on Avenida 16 de Septiembre towards Calle 2 Norte. Continue walking for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the entrance of Palenque National Park. The entrance is marked and there are signs directing you along the way. This walk is approximately 1.5 km and is quite straightforward.

If you prefer not to walk, you can take a colectivo (shared taxi) from the center of Palenque. Head to the colectivo station located on Avenida 20 de Noviembre, just a few blocks from the main square. Look for a colectivo heading to 'Ruinas de Palenque' or 'Palenque National Park'. The fare is approximately 20-30 MXN per person and the ride will take about 10-15 minutes. Be sure to confirm with the driver that they are headed to the park.
