Collective Taxi (Colectivo)
From San Cristóbal de las Casas, head to the main colectivo terminal, located on Calle 20 de Noviembre. Look for colectivos heading to Chamula; they usually have signs in the windows. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Chamula, ask the driver to let you off near Cementerio 8. The cemetery is a short walk from the main road.
Public Bus
From the San Cristóbal de las Casas bus terminal, take a bus to Chamula. Buses leave frequently throughout the day. The ride is about 30-40 minutes. After arriving in Chamula, exit the bus and head towards the main road. From there, you can ask for directions to Cementerio 8, which is a short walk away.
Walking from Chamula center
If you are already in the center of Chamula, you can walk to the cemetery. Head south on the main street (Calle de la Reforma) until you reach the intersection with Cementerio 8. The cemetery is located directly on this street; just follow the signs or ask locals for assistance.
