Car
If you're driving, start from the center of San Cristobal de las Casas. Head north on 1a Avenida Norte, then turn right onto Avenida de la Revolución. Continue straight until you reach the Periférico Norte. Turn left onto Periférico Norte and follow it for about 3 kilometers. You will see signs for Reserva Ecológica y Jardín de Orquídeas Moxviquil on your left. Look for the entrance which is marked and has a parking area. Parking is usually free.

Public Transportation
To reach the Reserva using public transportation, walk to the main bus station (Terminal de Autobuses). Look for a collective taxi or local bus heading towards Ojo de Agua. These are frequent and cost about 10-15 MXN per person. Inform the driver that you want to go to Moxviquil, and they will drop you off close to the entrance. Once you arrive, it’s a short walk from the main road to the entrance of the reserve.
