Getting There

From San Cristóbal de las Casas, take a local bus from the main bus terminal (Terminal de Autobuses) to the municipality of San Juan Chamula. The fare is approximately 10 pesos. Once in San Juan Chamula, ask for the bus to 'Grutas del Mamut' or 'Cueva del Mamut'. The fare for this second leg is also around 10 pesos. The bus will drop you off near the entrance to Grutas del Mamut.
