Getting there

Start at the main square (Plaza Central) located at the intersection of Calle 16 de Septiembre and Calle 5 de Febrero. From the square, head south on Calle 16 de Septiembre for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Avenida 20 de Noviembre. Turn left onto Avenida 20 de Noviembre and continue for another 300 meters. Your destination will be on your right, just past the intersection with Calle 2 de Noviembre. The walk should take approximately 10-15 minutes.

Bicycle Rental

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops near the main square. After renting, head south on Calle 16 de Septiembre and follow the same route as walking. Biking will allow you to reach your destination faster, typically in about 5-10 minutes. Rental costs vary but expect to pay around 100 MXN for a few hours.

Public Transport (Bus)

For a more local experience, you can take a bus from the main bus terminal (Terminal de Autobuses) in Palenque. Look for a bus heading towards Centro or any local destination. The fare is typically around 10 MXN. Once on the bus, inform the driver that you want to get off at the Centro stop. From there, your destination is within walking distance, approximately 5-10 minutes away, similar to the walking directions provided earlier.

Taxi

You can also take a taxi from anywhere in Palenque, which is a convenient option. Simply hail a taxi or call one from your hotel. Make sure to tell the driver you want to go to Centro, and they should know the location. The fare is usually around 50-80 MXN, depending on your starting point. The drive will take about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic.
