Walking
If you are starting from downtown Cozumel, head towards the ferry terminal located on Avenida Rafael E. Melgar. Once you arrive at the terminal, take a ferry to Playa del Carmen. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Playa del Carmen, walk straight ahead on Avenida 5 until you reach the intersection with Avenida Constituyentes. Turn left on Avenida Constituyentes and walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the entrance to Playacar. Follow the signs to Chichen Itza within the Playacar area.

Bicycle
You can rent a bicycle from various rental shops in downtown Cozumel. After renting your bike, ride towards the ferry terminal located on Avenida Rafael E. Melgar. Take the ferry to Playa del Carmen. After disembarking, ride along Avenida 5, heading south. At the intersection with Avenida Constituyentes, turn left and continue until you reach Playacar. Keep pedaling along the designated bike paths within Playacar to reach Chichen Itza.

To reach Chichen Itza from Cozumel, you first need to take a ferry from the Cozumel ferry terminal on Avenida Rafael E. Melgar to Playa del Carmen. After arriving at the Playa del Carmen ferry terminal, look for a bus station nearby. Take a bus that is headed towards Tulum or directly to Chichen Itza. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at Chichen Itza if the bus does not go directly there. The journey will take approximately 2 hours.
