Getting There

Walking
If you are in downtown San Miguel de Cozumel, start at the main square (Plaza Central). Head south on Avenida 5 until you reach the intersection with Calle 3 Sur. Turn left onto Calle 3 Sur and continue walking until you reach the beach. From there, follow the coast along the waterfront promenade (Paseo del Mar) heading southeast. After about 20 minutes, you will reach the entrance to Playa Uvas on Carretera a Chankanaab.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in San Miguel. Start your ride on Avenida 5 heading south. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle 3 Sur, where you will turn left. Follow Calle 3 Sur until you reach the waterfront promenade (Paseo del Mar). Turn right onto the promenade and cycle southeast along the coast. After approximately 20 minutes, you will arrive at Playa Uvas, located on Carretera a Chankanaab.
