Walking
If you are in downtown San Miguel de Cozumel, start at the main square (Plaza Central). Head south on Avenida 5 until you reach the intersection with Calle 3 Sur. Turn left onto Calle 3 Sur and continue walking until you reach the beach. From there, follow the coast along the waterfront promenade (Paseo del Mar) heading southeast. After about 20 minutes, you will reach the entrance to Playa Uvas on Carretera a Chankanaab.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in San Miguel. Start your ride on Avenida 5 heading south. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle 3 Sur, where you will turn left.
