If you're in San Miguel, you can easily find a taxi anywhere in the town. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Playa Uvas, located on Carretera a Chankanaab. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes, and the fare should be around 150-200 pesos. Make sure to confirm the price before you start your journey.

Bicycle
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in San Miguel. Start from the main square (Plaza Principal) and head south towards Calle 3 Sur. Continue until you reach the intersection with Avenida 5 Sur, then turn left. Follow Avenida 5 Sur until you reach the Carretera a Chankanaab. Turn right and continue straight until you see Playa Uvas on your left. The total distance is approximately 5 km and should take around 30 minutes.

Walking
Walking to Playa Uvas is possible, though it will take some time. Start at the main square in San Miguel and walk south along Avenida 5 Sur. After about 2 km, you will reach a junction where you can turn right onto Carretera a Chankanaab. Continue walking straight for about another 3 km. Playa Uvas will be on your left. This walk will take approximately 1.5 hours, so be prepared with water and sunscreen.

Public Bus
From the main plaza in San Miguel, look for the public buses heading towards the southern hotel zone. These buses are usually marked with a sign indicating their route. Board the bus, and tell the driver you want to get off at Playa Uvas. The ride should take around 20-25 minutes, and the fare is very affordable, typically around 15 pesos.
