Walking
If you are in the Centro area of Cozumel, start at the main square (Plaza Principal) located at the intersection of Avenida 5 and Calle 1. From the square, head east on Calle 1 until you reach Avenida Rafael E. Melgar. Turn right onto Avenida Rafael E. Melgar and continue walking for about 5 minutes. Look for the Cozumel Museum located at Av. Rafael E. Melgar 321-Planta Alta, between Calle 4 and Calle 6 Norte, on your left.
Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, start at the main square (Plaza Principal) in Centro. Cycle east on Calle 1, then turn right onto Avenida Rafael E. Melgar. Continue cycling for approximately 1 km along the waterfront until you see the Cozumel Museum at Av. Rafael E. Melgar 321-Planta Alta, between Calle 4 and Calle 6 Norte. There are bike racks available in front of the museum.
Public Bus
If you are near the main square (Plaza Principal), walk to Avenida 5 between Calle 1 and Calle 2. Catch a public bus heading towards the southern hotels (look for signs indicating 'Zona Hotelera'). Inform the driver to drop you at the nearest stop to Avenida Rafael E. Melgar. From there, walk north on Avenida Rafael E. Melgar for about 5 minutes until you reach the Cozumel Museum located at Av. Rafael E. Melgar 321-Planta Alta, between Calle 4 and Calle 6 Norte.
