Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from the Guadalajara Cathedral, head west on Avenida 16 de Septiembre. Continue straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Calle Morelos. Turn left onto Calle Morelos and walk for another 5 minutes. Plaza de Armas will be on your right, just before you reach the intersection with Avenida Juárez.

  • Public Transportation (Bus)

    From the main bus terminal, take any bus heading towards 'Centro Histórico'. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach 'Plaza de Armas'. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you get off, walk towards the square, which is in the Zona Centro area.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, start from Parque Revolución. Head southeast towards Avenida Juárez. Turn left onto Avenida Juárez and continue straight. After a few blocks, turn right onto Calle Morelos. Continue until you reach Plaza de Armas, which will be on your left side.

  • Metro

    Take the Metro Line 1 to the San Juan de Dios station. Exit the station and head northeast on Calle 8 de Julio until you reach Avenida Juárez. Turn left and walk straight for about 10 minutes. Plaza de Armas will be on your right.
