Getting There

• Public Transportation - Bus

  If you're starting from the Guadalajara Cathedral, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch a bus heading toward Zona Centro. Look for buses with routes that include 'Centro' or 'Centro Histórico'. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Plaza de Armas', which is a central point in the historic area. From there, you can easily walk to various attractions.

• Walking

  If you're near the Mercado San Juan de Dios, you can walk to Centro Histórico. Head north on Calle de la Paz, which will take you directly to the historic district. It’s about a 15-20 minute walk. You'll pass through some local shops and eateries, making it a pleasant stroll.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing programs available in the city. Start from Parque Alcalde and ride north towards the Centro Histórico. It’s about a 10-minute ride. Park your bike at one of the designated bike racks when you arrive.

  For a more convenient option, use a ride-sharing app like Uber or Didi. Simply input 'Centro Histórico' as your destination. The driver will pick you up from your location and drop you off right at the heart of the historic district. The ride should take around 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic.

  Although there is no metro station directly in Centro Histórico, you can take the metro to 'Juárez' station on Line 2. From there, exit and walk south along Avenida Juárez. It’s a 10-15 minute walk to reach the main attractions in the historic area.
