After about 15-20 minutes of walking, you will arrive at the base of the hill where the Monumento Al Pipila is located. The monument itself is visible from a distance, so keep an eye out for the large statue as you approach.

Start at the Jardín de la Unión and walk to the nearby funicular station, located at the top of Calle de la Paz.
