If you are in the central area of Guanajuato, start at the Jardín de la Unión, a popular park in the heart of the city. From here, head southeast towards C. Ponciano Aguilar. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with C. Miguel Hidalgo. Turn left onto C. Miguel Hidalgo and walk for about 5 minutes. You will see the Basílica Colegiata de Nuestra Señora de Guanajuato on your right at C. Ponciano Aguilar 7.

To reach the Basílica Colegiata de Nuestra Señora de Guanajuato using public transport, find a bus heading towards the Zona Centro. Board the bus and pay the fare. Ponciano Aguilar where you will find the church.
