Car
From the center of Huatulco, head southeast on Boulevard Santa Cruz towards Calle de la Playa. Continue straight for about 2 km. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Calle Miguel de la Madrid. Follow this road for about 5 km until you reach the entrance of Santa María Huatulco. Once in Santa María, turn left on the road leading to Bocana beach. There will be a sign indicating the direction. The beach is approximately 1 km down this road. Parking is available near the beach, but may incur a small fee.
Public Transportation
To reach Bocana beach via public transportation, head to the main bus terminal in Huatulco. Look for buses that head towards Santa María Huatulco. The fare is usually around 20-30 pesos. Once you arrive in Santa María Huatulco, disembark at the main square. From there, you can either take a local taxi for approximately 50-100 pesos to Bocana beach or walk towards the beach, which is around a 15-minute walk from the square. Follow the same road as mentioned in the car instructions.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Huatulco directly to Bocana beach. Make sure to agree on a fare before starting the journey. Expect to pay around 150-200 pesos for the ride, depending on your starting point. The taxi will take you directly to the beach entrance, making it a convenient option for travelers with limited time.
